Im not new to the idea of low carb dieting but I'm confusing myself about carbs and sugar in general and the more I think about it the more I confused I become
The daily recommended allowance for a non diabetic woman is 90g (I think!) and according to the newbie guide a liberal low carb would be 90 - 130g which would make the newbie guide completely wrong. So help me get rid of this confusion please!
Is the 90 - 130g overall carbs? For instance (this is totally made up) a slice of bread could be labeled as 15g of carbs with 5g of that coming from sugar. SO, when I am calculating how many carbs in having in a day do I count the 15g or 5g?
Please, please, please help!
