hi about sugar was 13.0 then i injected 3units of novorapid ts never lowered my sugar level 4hours later it was 10.8 its like my body gets so resistant to insulin and sometimes i can injected 1.5units and it will bring my sugar down by 4mmols. does anyone else have this kind of problem?.

I find the higher I am to start the more insulin needed to bring it down.

oh how frustrating, I get this all the time. I think it depends highly on stress levels most of the time you know. Maybe your insulin is past its 30 days out of the fridge?

As @rachy0121 has said, you may want to try a fresh bolus insulin cartridge.

Further to this, it's possible that your basal insulin cartridge may actually need replacing or your basal dose adjusted. If your basal dose is wrong, or your basal insulin has gone "off", then your bolus corrections won't work as they should.

I am having this issue over the past couple of days i cant seem to get my bloods into single figures. I will try to change my insulin cartridge in my pen but that has only been in a week. It is so frustrating as for the past couple of months i have been pretty spot on.

Have you tried injecting somewhere completely else? When i find my insulin not having the desired effect i often inject in my arms or legs where i usually don't inject at all.
