I drink sugar free drinks. I drink no added sugar squash during the day, but steer clear of ones containing saccharine as that seems to raise my blood sugars a little, strange but true. Pepsi Max, Diet Pepsi and Diet Coke are fine for me too.

Erm............... a waste of money serving no value towards dietary needs.
Cold drinks for me are .... water, water with orange cordial and if I need to gain a bit of a sugar boost I add a spoonful of glucose powder.

I am mainly a water person, never have liked hot drinks of any sort. Occasionally I will have a bottled drink from Greggs. They do a cloudy lemonade, raspberry lemonade and ginger beer - all zero carbs. Not the same as a sausage roll but still quite good. Convinced it is the same as the one from M&S. Incidentally their larger bottle is cheaper than the smaller one.

I drink them mainly with my meals - I have no problem with them- not the monster drinks or red bull type ones I avoid those

I drink Diet Coke when I need a caffeine boost because I don’t normally drink any caffeine: I don’t like coffee and drink herbal tea.
In the last 6 months, I have needed the boost a couple of times.

I don’t feel a need for any other sugar free or no added sugar drinks.
In the past, I tried a few but saw no point. Especially fake flavoured water.

Usually I drink herbal tea (including home made iced ones in the summer), dark hot chocolate (with an insulin shot) when it’s cold or water.

Pepsi Max and the like aren't for me I've found. Not wanting to sound distasteful but I find it causes me diarrhoea

Sean, I enjoyed both Diet Coke and Pepsi Max but needed to stop drinking them as they had the same effect on me as they have with you. A friend suggested it might be the aspartme they use to sweeten them. I moved over to Sainsburys or Tescos own brand diet cokes as they sucralose as the sweetener. Never had any problems since I switched.
