But the sugar isn't important, its the carbs - and the amount is usually hidden away on the back or side in tiny writing.

Sugar cane does not have labels, before it goes to to the mills.

I know the nearest cane paddock over the north side Bundy does not have any.

The sugar content is important, as the more of which sugars are in your carbohydrate, the more your blood sugars are going to take a beating for it... example, you may notice you spike quicker and higher, we however only take Insulin for the carbs listed.

Checking out the of which sugars also helps with finding hidden sugars in foods you wouldn't normally associate with being there, especially in certain " healthy " cereals.
