Sugar Levels And Testing

What is the best step for me to take now to get the doctors to look into my situation more , they are saying based on my blood tests they have no further action to take, but clearly it’s not as final as they are saying.
I have an appointment on 7th aug and am going to continue to test my sugar levels, is there anything else I can do beforehand?
I really appreciate all your comments and help, my doctors are useless and are no help at all ☹️
Maybe show the doctor your self testing results. If he says they're normal, you should push back as they are not normal.

It's possible your HbA1c result is inaccurate, so you could ask if they can do a fructosamine test: https://labtestsonline.org/tests/fructosamine

Yes. Download the mySugr app. Record your tests along with the food you eat. I test on waking, then before I eat and again 2 hours after the first bite. I also test before bed. After about a week, you will get an estimated HbA1c number. Remember that this reading is based entirely on the data you enter.

When you test for meals. You are looking for a rise of not more than 2.

Lots of non-diabetics have high readings in the morning, the liver is dumping glucose to get us started.

Lots of non-diabetics spike after eating and it is ok for them.

I certainly wouldn't say that you are eating low carb. The beans are around 12 carbs. The milk is 3 per 100 ml. The potato has carbs.

Using the app you can identify which foods are causing a spike. You can show your app to the doctor with the information. Bear in mind you will only have a few days data by the time of your appointment.

I am T2. I was diagnosed in November at 122. In 6 months I got it down to 35. mySugr estimates it is currently 36. I go for my next HbA1c at the end of the month.

If the number is still low, it doesn't mean I don't have Diabetes.
Thanks I will get started on this straight away , really appreciate you all taking the time to help me, if only the doctors were as helpful
