I manage perfectly well all day without any sugar except what might be in an apple. However, in the evening and usually just before bedtime, I get a real craving for something sweet so I generally have a bowl of sugary cereal. I wonder if anyone else ha has a similar experience and if so what is the solution please.
You could always try strawberries and extra thick cream to see if that touches the spot. Use berries (blueberries, raspberries etc.) and see if you prefer them or at least substitute some of the cereals with them.
The craving for sweet things does fade in time but, in the meantime, have you thought about having a couple of squares of very good quality high % dark chocolate instead of the sugary cereal?
Try Beyond Dark Chocolate Drops. They are amazing and 10g carbs for the 35g bag which for me would be 2 servings so 5g each serving. They really suit my sweet tooth. I found them in Holland and Barrett. Chocologic also do fairly low carb chocolate but not just as tasty. They are sold in Tesco
I keep a sugar free jelly made up in the fridge. There are so many different flavours so I don't get bored. I have it most nights with double cream for supper. Fills me up and fixes my sugar craving.
Haha! Im the same! Even though i get cravings i try not to eat a lot of sugary food. I try to have a lot of fruit in the house and put a bit of everything in a bowl - or i even try chewing gum
Cavalier dark chocolate with cocoa nibs is nice, it doesn't taste quite as bitter as some dark chocolate. 40gram bar is only 7 grams of carbs and is sweetened with stevia. They do a huge range.

OMG, you lucky thing - I wish I could. Its been nearly two years since I had a banana and I LOVE bananas - same with grapes. I can manage grapefruit, 50g strawberries and 100g raspberries (not all at the same time!) without my BS going up too much but I have to have them instead of a meal.
Yeah could be, even though i don't bolus that much but bare in mind i only eat about a handful of grapes. I'd check my levels about 30 minutes to an hour after
