Hi Lilliepop There is an earlier thread on Sukrin bread. I have made it and it is very nice, I have Coeliac disease so it's actually a nice bread and something I can eat now and then. Mine had sunflower and pumpkin seeds in it, delicious :) Hope you enjoy it and it can be sliced and frozen.

I'm wheat, gluten, xanthan gum, and maize intolerant so I have such a problem finding low carb bread without all that added.
Really hope this bread is good, quite expensive for a loaf of bread. Where did you get yours from?

I bought mine from The free from and allergy show in Olmpia London. It is a bit expenive that's why I sliced mine and put them in the freezer.

An alternate to xanthan is mastiha (mastika). It's the sap of a particular tree so hopefully you won't be allergic to it.

If you've been to Turkey you may have seen the ice cream vendors swinging the ice cream from the end of a sword as though it's elastic. That's the stuff they use.

I'm going to try some bread using it very soon, so, if you are interested, I'll let you know how I get on.

Well have put the bread mix in the oven, the mix looks like grey cement and smells like it too. But hoping it will taste nice that is the main thing.
Will post result soon it takes 1.20 mins.

Have made the bread and would give it seven out of ten. It has a lot of seeds. I cooked it in the container but my advise would be if you want it more chrispy would put the mixture on a baking tray as it says you can do.I will buy it again as its so hard to find bread that is low in carbs and gluten free. It's a bit cheaper from Amazon.
So all in all pleased with it.

Almond flour bread is a nice alternative to wheat flour bread, it's a bit like soda bread in it's consistency. It's about 1g of carb per slice and is fairly cheap to make too :)
