You have daughter-in-law, nurse, & us. Already your own little support group
If its all you need, its all you need!

Its how you feel that matters here .
If you are feeling well supported and happy with things as they are in your life ?
Then as fergie says its all you need :)
We are still always here for you with help and support - whenever you may wish and need us
The choice is yours - with wanting or not wanting to join a suppport group :)

Other people dont get or have much help 'locally' so may benefit from a local support group .
It is an option to be considered should anyone need more local support near their own home town .

Absolutely not, if your happy with the way things are don't feel you could benefit from a support group then don't join one, that said Support Groups are a great place to meet people and share experiences of living with diabetes, often there's a guest speaker and there's always something new to learn.

thank u 2 all u lovely people. ur replies r very positive & have given me faith in the support system of this eb site. i shall not b joining a local 1 just yet, maybe l8r? but i certainly will be staying on this support group web site. :D :)
