surgery for lipohypertrophy ?

Hi-

Has anyone had liposuction or other form of surgery to get rid of lipohypertrophy ? I have lumps around my belly button from years of injections in that area. Would appreciate if anyone could share their experience of surgery to remove the lumps . Thanks in advance.

Been asked a few times, but never seen an answer to this. You would think a simple procedure could be carried out. I think most people tend not to care or it is a long way down their list of things to worry about.
Of course if a fat reduction was carried out, the ongoing inulin absorption rate may change considerably.
There must be someone whos has had a treatment carried out somewhere though?

Random question... but is lipohypertrophy caused by the quantitiy of needle penetrations or due the amount of insulin?

I asked my consultant maybe three years ago about liposuction as I have a couple of fat pockets around my belly button caused by the huge needles we used years ago and his answer after a little chuckle was no chance , I think it is very low down the list of priorities .
