Hello there people, just wondering but recently I seem to literally just sweat.. Not just sweat literally looks like I've been in a shower, it's only when I'm sat down? Is this linked to my diabetes or has anyone else experienced it too?

Excessive sweating can be caused by a number of different conditions, including diabetes. I think you should see your doctor about it, to check if there is something else going on. There may be a treatment available.

I can get sweaty during a hypo, particularly if i don't catch it early and i've been low for a while.

I wasn't having a hypo, it's when I notice I'm sweating I seem to be taping a table, shaking my knees.. Just very weird tbh

If you're sure it's not hypo-related, then I'd see your doctor so they can check out what's causing it. It must be very annoying if it comes on randomly.

Hopefully your doctor will quickly find any problem and get it sorted for you :)

I'm not sure, think I will have to go doctors tomorrow :/

Yep, Doctors. Definatly.. You need to log these events though along with BS levels at the time.. ;)
I got an inner ear infection once, kept going dizzy.. First thing my doc said was low BG.. Well done Sherlock!:banghead:

That's the worrying thing, doctors always think they know best.. When sometimes they are wrong in some cases very wrong! :/

Indeed. At the end of the day. You got 5 minutes alone in a room with someone who has access to your medical information..
You mention the syptoms you have, they do the "math" based on the formula in front of them... & come up first with the wrong answer.

Lol. I have been in similar situations with my vehicle at a garage without the technician even lifting the bonnet.. Flow chart stuff. ;)

Hi
I have been having a similar problem and have found that cutting my carbs as low as possible reduces the sweating episodes. Maybe it's just me but worth a try to see if your symptoms improve.

I have had two periods of time when I had excessive sweating which on both occasions I thought were linked to the menopause. However the first was due to extremely high blood pressure and the second was high blood sugar which stopped when I started low carbing. So I agree you need to see your Dr.
