Yes, the heat and inactivity have that effect for me.
Bur mainly it is what I have eaten.
Last year (in all that heat) I was fine until I ate some things I shouldn’t. Turns out that gluten and stuff like polyols make me retain water.
Now that’s a lesson I could have done with learning about 20 years ago!
I’m drinking as much as I can but being stuck in car limits it somewhat. I am constantly thirsty but I can’t get to toilet in lessons so have to wait minimum of 2 hours. So I can’t just drink and drink. My mouth is really dry at the moment for example.
I’ve drank almost 2 litres today. I’ll drink loads now before bed.

as your blood sugar levels are fine, I recommend speaking to your GP. Fluid retention and continual thirst can be a symptom or side effect of many things.
