Swim22 Swimming Challenge?

Is anyone thinking of doing it or has done it in the past? I’m considering signing up but not sure if I’d manage it... 22 miles is a long way to swim in 12 weeks.

Sounds really interesting, and I love swimming (although I must admit the dogs prefer me to walk... ;) )

It’s on the diabetes uk site, not sure how to do links on my phone but if you google diabetes uk swim22 it should come up

It’s 22Feb-22May that you swim 22 miles. JDRF do one similar also. So there’s time to build up swimming distance first. I did my first mile within one session today. Have been going swimming for a month or two.

I'm thinking of signing up for this even though it's maybe almost 10 years since I did any regular swimming. I'm not far from a pool. But they suggest getting a buddy - any suggestions for how to find one?
