Hi all,
I’m hoping to go swimming today for the first time since starting Dexcom/control iq.

Any tips on how to manage all the kit so the “out of range” beeping doesn’t drive the changing room mad?

Should I use exercise mode on my way to the pool?

I switch out of range off. Permanently! Does my head in lol! I keep my kit pool side and when I climb out and move back into range it usually beeps to tell me I’m high. Unavoidable for me when doing a hard swim unfortunately.
Enjoy!

Unfortunately I swim at a local leisure centre, so leaving my kit at the side would probably risk it going missing.

I think I’ll turn off the out of range alarm as it woke me twice in the night last night, even though the pump was beside the sensor!! Must have been a compression issue!

I leave mine with the life guard as there is always one pool side, they don't mind and am sure i'm not the only one who has to leave kit with them, I personally go low when swimming so have to keep glucose close at hand as once had a really awful low episode and struggled to access the locker to get my glucose, learnt the hard way..

@becca59 great advice re: out of range, have just turned mine off !!

As do I. As @Juicyj says lifeguards are brilliant and everyone knows the pink bag is mine.
