Also, what is you full regimen? Basal-bolus plus metformin? What were your bedtime readings on the night of the hypos? Did you have a 'standard' meal that evening? Any exercise? What are you BGs like either side of your meals?
Without knowing the answers to these questions I would, cautiously, suggest you consider cutting back your Tresiba & see how you get on. Running slightly higher is safer than a hypo, especially whilst asleep.
Best of luck

I found I would go low in the night taking my lantus in the evening especially after exercise, so I split the dose equally between morning and evening, which solved that problem and allowed me to skip/reduce the morning dose when exercising (to avoid lows during the day while cycling), but then exposed/other things developed (i.e. I then started running high overnight some time later) - things change.
No more lantus after 3 days on tresiba things r a 1000 time better, after all lantus went out of my system the last 2 days wr fantastic I take it at night no more hypos last year my bg went over 500 mg/dl yet my freestyle libre says it's in normal range so bad accuracy oh yeah it's abbot a frensh company now lantus by sanofi they just should keep working on perfume MD is not for them (no offense for the nation I'm talking industrial)(Mod edit to removing dosing advice)

With due respect (I'm not a massive lantus fan myself) different insulins suit different people. No more lantus after 3 days on tresiba things r a 1000 time better after all lantus went out of my system the last 2 days wr fantastic I take it at night no more hypos last year my bg went over 500 mg/dl yet my freestyle libre says it's in normal range so bad accuracy oh yeah it's abbot a frensh company now lantus by sanofi they just should keep working on perfume MD is not for them (no offense for the nation I'm talking industrial)
Sorry I know different insulin suit's different people it just traumatized me the fact that my Dr said to me lantus can never do that and refused to put me on tresiba she said Ur symptoms is some kind of depression and cortisol levels causing the hypos so I did it myself switched to tresiba and that fixed everythingWith due respect (I'm not a massive lantus fan myself) different insulins suit different people
And issues with cgms aren't confined to Abbott (dexcom user here), they just aren't always accurate.
But I'm really glad that you have found an insulin that suits you. (mod edit to reflect change in quoted post)
oh im so sorry im just mentally unwell this month was alot should i delete this threadPossibly a bit late now, but just a reminder to all that forum rules (found in all moderator's signatures and in the Greetings and Introduction forum) prohibit medical advice , so specific dosing advice is out. Describing your own personal experience or giving a link to a reputable source keeps within the rules.
Sorry you’re not so well at the momentoh im so sorry im just mentally unwell this month was alot should i delete this thread
