Swollen Hands & Locking Joints

Has anyone had any experience with swollen hands an locking finger joints?

It's mostly first thing in the morning and can be quite painful sometimes to unlock my little fingers. Is this diabetes related? I use nova rapid and Lantus.

Both are symptoms of arthritis, i get flares like that quite frequently. There are other causes too but I'd suggest you see your doctor about it.

Google 'trigger finger'. You may find you have that. I do, it started a year before I was diagnosed. I had the injection in the shaft of nerve, yeeeehaaaaa **** well hurts and didn't work but it does for some. There is an op that can be done but I'm waiting a while before I go down that route.
