Hi

About 3 months ago one of my toe got swollen, its red and painful but it's really bad for few days and then goes down a little bit. I went to the gp he just said it's nothing just change your socks to cotton one's. I changed that and shoes too just in case. My gp is really **** so I did not bother going back as it sort of flares up for 2 days or 3 but then gets better on its own. Today I have noticed that one other toe is sort of getting a bit similar, its swollen and slightly numb. There is no swelling on the leg anywhere else. Any suggestions what I could do.
I had a weird dryness sort of thing between my fingers and he gave me a cream and it dint work. I went back to him he just said it's nothing it will be ok, this is inspite of me telling him that the medicine dint work he just said it's a lifelong condition and dismissed to even discuss it further. He anyways only talk about one thing at one time and wants me to take another appointment for any other thing. Really fed-up with him now.

Thanks Catherine but do you think as well that he's ****. The other surgery is far from my house but that's not any better. The reviews are even worse on NHS website. If he can't fix it he just says it's a lifelong condition? I mean how can some allergy between fingers be that. I have used everything that I can think of E45 sudocreme and he gave me something called fubit I think if I am not wrong.

Reviews are not always reliable as people who get good service do not tend to write reviews.
Ask around neighbours as to who they see or who they would recommend.

Your fingers need to be seen by a Dermatologist, even if there is nothing that can be done at least you will have heard it from someone who knows what they are talking about.
