Type1 or 2 goes on more than 1 factor.. Bloods, age etc.
You need to have an hba1c test done before jumping to conclusions of a self diagnosed diabetes illness.
Your symptoms could describe 100's of diseases....physical as well as mental.... Palpitatitations and feelings of feeling unwell can be mental.. Stress, anxiety as well as physical diseases
See your GP..
Definitely not psychological...
Its biological. I have seen my GP about this, and requested a glucose
challenge test. We all know how difficult to get tests done nowadays,
specially if you are already chronically ill. I have also have three types of
heart failure, angina, and a long list of other illness. So, yes, I can tell
those hunger pangs, arrythmias, sweats etc.. are related to something.
To confirm, I chatted with a doctor today, who also agrees that its likely to
be some type of diabetes, or could be related to my Hashimotos, but he
says, more likely to be some type of Diabetes. And he also mentioned
that are many types of metabolic syndromes which are difficult to diagnose,
or that we have no understanding, knowledge or the diagnostic tools...
Be careful not to psychologize symptoms, its only a few years ago
when diabetes was thought to be psychiatric...
Furthermore, all displays of so called mental illness have biological triggers,
such as antidepressants, some antibiotics and other meds, infectious pathogens,
hormonal, and environmental triggers. I take no medications, not even for my
heart failure, ie left ventricular dysfunction, systolic and diastolic heart failure.
