Hello
I'm 30yrs old and have no diabetes in my family to my knowledge.
I have always had a problem with dropping sugar levels as when i am hungry i am horrible/irritable, heady and shakey. I can't concentrate and the shakes have been so bad that i haven't been able to drive. If i come accross food when feeling this way i have been known to take handfuls of cold left overs / anything i can get my hands on and force it down quickly - like an animal (usually i am very ladylike - honestly)!!
I had a mild cold last week and this week i thought i may have had the tale end of a viral thing. I have felt 'extremely' tired, groggy and heady. All i want to do is curl up and sleep. Getting up in the mornings is hard and i'm drinking a little more than usual.
Today i had 2 slices of toast at 10am, i was on my way home at 1pm and popped into the supermarket. I was shaking with hunger and all of a sudden i thought i was going to pass out. I grabbed a packet of crisps to eat in the car on the way home (i wasn't driving)! When i got home i ate a cereal bar whilst my beans on toast cooked (needed something quick)! After i ate that i slept on the sofa and now continue to feel groggy and a little more thirsty than usual.
I guess i just wondered if i should leave it and see if i feel better in a few days as maybe i am over reacting? Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thank you in advance
