Synjardy- given in a different format.

I'm taking Synhardy 12.5mg/850mgs metformin in one tablet.

My gp has noe prescribed 850 mentoring and 25mgs Synjardy separately. I've been asked to halve the 25mgs synjardy. The problem is the tablet is not scored and shouldn't be broken. I have been having the tablet using a knife.

Since taking the tablets separately I've had stomach issues.

Anyone had a similar issue.

Personally, I'd go back to my GP and complain. They shouldn't be telling you to split the tablets against the advice of the usage instructions.
