t2 and numb left foot

I rang up this afternoon for my test results. All are clear and no action to be taken. Hca1 is 6.6 and in december it was 6.6 so slightly lower.
Am now very confused because of numbness in my left foot and 2 fingers. Now I have noticed my right foot is slightly numb.
Also confused as the past week, I have been very thirsty, nurse also looked in my mouth last Friday and said my mouth was very dry. I realise that the past few days higher reading would not show up.

@ally1 glad that all your tests have come back ok but I would suggest that you get the GP to investigate further as you are still having symptoms. Hopefully there are more tests they can carry out to put your mind at rest.

Have had my Doppler test done. No blocked arteries in my hands, arms, feet and legs. Am so happy about that.
Blood pressure 135/86 so that's good.
I asked the nurse what she thought could be causing the numbness. She said she is not knowledgeable about diabetes, as in not a Diabetic nurse, but she said it could be maybe due to neopathy but she said when I see the Gp on Friday, he will have looked over the results and will know more.
She did explain that by being referred to the podiatrist, that a more detailed feet and hand check will be done to see how much/ how bad the numbness is

All the best for Friday. Hope GP can come up with some help.

Have been to see my Gp. Was in with him over a hour. No further yet with the numbness. Will know more when I see the podiatrist.
My hbc1a is ok.
My psych and Gp have had a long discussion, am to stay on the meds I am on for the time being but will be reviewed regularary

Also, Gp has done a quick memory test. He wasn,t happy with the results so is going to refer me to the memory clinic for a more in depth memory test. Also having a ECG on the 10th April.
Re numbness, Gp did ask if I had any back pain which I Don, t so that was ruled out causing numbness

Oh Ally, at long last your GP seems to be paying some decent attention to you and seems keen to get to the bottom of things.
