[QUOTE="Traceymac23, post: 2029682, member: 502584"] I think it's with or without meds......maybe people could post stating their med status if not already within signatures? For the record.......and it is a record low for me Last night 7.9 This Morning 4.3(lowest since diagnosis Yesterday: Brunch(combined breakfast/lunch) 6 good 90% pork sausages/2 rashers bacon,Tsp Colmans English Mustard Dinner Pasta Carbonara bake(naughty carbs),150ml Haagen Daaz(treat to replace alcohol) Snacks 30g cashews/30g 85% green and blacks choc 6 Cigarettes SO........Conclusions 1)bedtime result proves pasta dinner was bad but NOT terminal 2)Lie-in(slept till 10am) suggests benefits for morning levels 3)Sunday readings of 4.5(0415hrs,5.6 (0900hrs),8.1(1345hrs-after sausages and bacon plus copious coffees and a few cashews),5.3(15.45hrs-after a midday snooze),4.7(1900 about an hour after abdominal exercise),5.2(2105 after bowel movement and pre dinner),7.9 at bedtime post carby dinner and ice cream...........all suggest that my BG levels are acting as one might expect after certain events.......which is a relief after the chaos of hospitalisation/temperature spikes/sepsis etc. 4)fewer ciggies help reduce BG reading? Overall a sunday average BG of 5.9 which if maintained for 2 months would give a HbA1c of approx 5.3 or 35.0......OK I know the conversions/predictions can be a bit shady but that would be my guess and if that's correct I would be happy with it this time around(test due in June).
