I'm worried about postage costs, so I hardly dare guess. Is it the last chicken in the basket? These pills I take every morning at breakfast have stayed the same shape and colour since I have been taking them. The quantity of the little blue ones change depending on a three monthly blood test where they can go down to three, or increase to five which is the maximum dose.
You can play spot the statin (Rosuvastin) if you want in the pix, a used tub of strips to the winner.
mmmmm
No strips for you mate...I'm worried about postage costs, so I hardly dare guess. Is it the last chicken in the basket?
What a blow!No strips for you mate...
Hi @Rachox can I ask how you know it was Amlodipine that raised you BG and not something else? The NHS will use whichever brand is cheapest. It’s the manufacturers who should standardise the size and colour of the same meds to avoid confusion.
BTW @vic hill did you know Amlodipine can raise blood sugar levels in some people, it did mine, I no longer take it.
I’m not saying Amlodipine was the cause of my diabetes but as I lost weight and corrected my blood sugars, my BP came down to the point where I was getting dizzy so I was able to stop it and stay on just Ramipril. Once I’d stopped the Amlodipine my blood sugars dropped, only a little but a significant amount to attribute it to those tablets.Hi @Rachox can I ask how you know it was Amlodipine that raised you BG and not something else?
@vic hill . Fully appreciate your frustration.
I often get a change in tablet supplier for no apparent reason.
My biggest gripe was a few years back. I compartmentalised a kitchen draw for all my diabetes stuff ( sad ).
Out of nowhere came bigger packaging, completely bu**ered up my organised draw.
That’s good to know. I was getting worried I was the only one to be so organised.Squits! Also have a drawer in my bedroom cabinet!
