Im on the lchf diet. Which is working really well. Thinking of getting a takeaway tonight as I cant drive at the moment and the nearest shop is miles away. Getting an online shop in tomorrow but dont haveenough food to last until then.. hence the takeaway idea.

Any ideas on whats a good option? If any?

Hmm... More difficult. Something dry? Tandoori chicken/meat? Or shish kebab of some kind? And maybe a veggie dish like sag or bhindi bhaji? They will be a bit carby, but likely not loads...

Indian is my fave! I usually have chicken tikka or korma, onion bhaji, mushroom or cauliflower or bhindi bhaji. No rice or Naan bread but can get away with a popadum.

Tikka, Tandoori or Kebab with salad would be your best bet, maybe a chicken pakora for starters (Gram flour from Chickpeas)

I like a nice Indian meal. Onion bajhias seem ok then I have lamb dish and some spinach and paneer side with a poppadum. No rice or naan though.

Bf doesnt want an indian :banghead:

Do you think parmesans are lowish carb?

Could just have a kebab and not the pitta bread.

When I have a takeaway I find kebabs, particularly chicken/chicken tikka can be quite low carb.

Had kebab meat and a few chips. Bg spiked to 12 and fasting was 10. Oh dear. Its annoying you cant have a one off treat. Literally had like 5 or 6 :-(

Always hidden sugars in processed meat like kebabs. Any take away causes me to spike. Chinese is the worst, full of msg and sugars. Why are they so bloody nice ggggrrrrhhhh !

I find Chinese crispy duck with cucumber and spring onion relatively safe if it's a good Chinese. Tandoori mixed grill and salad from the Indian. Never get the kebab meat slices they're usually mixed with flour/starch. The shish kebab whole meat pieces are usually ok.

Chicken Parmesan is covered in breadcrumbs if it's what I'm thinking of so wouldn't be ok.

When you said Parmesan @Lexa_x are you talking 'Parmos'? Like from the North East? They don't spike me tooooo much when I occasionally have one, I try take some of the breadcrumbs off the bottom, if that's not what Ya talking about then just ignore what I'm saying lol x

Yes! Thats what I meant :) ill try that next time I think!

For indian takeaway try chicken tikka or tandoori chicken they should have no carbs at all, I make it at home and help myself to generous portions as it is high protein and almost no carbs
