Hi,
Well went for my three month check up yesterday (diagnosed T2 back in May 10) and Nurse has taken me off Metformin. I may have mentioned in the past that the day I was diagnosed the GP put me straight on Metformin with no negotiation into trying diet etc, just 'take this medication approach.'
I have been having massive hypo feelings mid day (dont check my levels so can assume) and reported this to the nurse. The past two occasions my HB1 levels have been a steady 5.5, so the nurse was more than happy with me and suggested dropping the Metoformin and go down the diet route, which I am more than happy with. Just shows the conflicting information we can recieve..!!
A happy chappy....
