Michael Gove and his insane educational? policies!
Am feeling sorry for myself. Picked up daughter from childminder and whilst she was telling me that she had fallen over, hit her head and fallen asleep at school, I was in the process of reversing and hit someone's car. Obviously I knocked on their door and fessed up. They were ok but not too happy. I get why. Just had to ring insurance company then NHS direct who have told me they will ring me back tonight. Daughter seems ok but wanted to be on safe side. Feel like bursting into tears! Lol! Kids now telling husband!

Feel sorry for you, what a day you have had..poor thing...
You need a treat tonight to cheer you up or relax you....
Yes the children will have a great story to tell, but thank goodness you and your daughter are ok....sending you a virtual hug ((((( ))))) x

I blame the person for parking in your way. Just a complete lack of thought on their part :clown:

Thank you. Hubbie very laid back as always. Just rolled eyes and said I'll cook the tea. My brother in law calls me cartoon accident girl as I was extremely accident prone and unlucky when I was younger. Lol! Kids watching frozen and I am waiting for NHS direct to call back. Splitting headache. Really want crusty bread and butter, a large glass of wine and some of the Thorntons choccies my husband got given today. Will be a good girl and just have meatballs and salad! :grumpy:

OK, he's a keeper :)

Not wanting to compare hysterectomy scars, but I once reversed my husband's car into my boss's car. Eek. Husband now ex.

I don't find wine helps a headache, but a mug of strong coffee with double cream does.

Went to make tea for husband but burnt self on one cup maker consequently it went all over the work surface so I did the girly thing and cried. Just as my daughter was pretending to be a fairy in the bathroom and knocked an ornament off the bathroom shelf, smashing it. Husband finally lost it and shouted " for f@@ks sake what's wrong with you lot. Can't we just get through a day without concussion, crashing the car or smashing things. Wouldn't mind but the hole in the bathroom sink was caused by hubbie knocking old perfume bottle off shelf and it landed in the sink. Just ate 2 of the choccies from Thorntons box. Didn't have wine or dessert though. Lol. :(

Salad and meatballs lovely. Ate 2 chocs but no wine. Not sure about Thorntons making meatballs but have heard of dark chocolate in chilli. Sounds wrong on any level!

As my Dad said to be last winter when I slid my car straight into someone else's: "At least you are getting to use the insurance that the've been stinging you for!".
Cars are big lumps of metal that people seem to get quite touchy about if you hit them, but they are just lumps of metal.

And the two chocs... well that's just medicinal !

Tomorrow will be a better day!!

Sure hope today goes much better for you! Sounds like you had the day from hell!:(

Don't knock chilli chocolate -- it is the food of the gods. In fact, if you haven't tried it then why not have some as a treat? One square won't hurt sugar levels, and it could be what you need.

I agree, it's delicious, but you can't eat a lot at once. Ideal

Will be sure to try it! :D

Yes it has been better thanks!

Thanks to all of you for cheering me up! One of my colleagues actually noticed that I had lost weight which was really nice and I didn't get boll@@ked for missing a deadline yesterday. Arranged an inter languages sports session for my year 8 so we're going to play football in French God help me! It's the last lesson for them before the Easter break so should be quite nice!
