Hi,
Is anyone else watching the cycling Tour of California on ITV4 at the moment? There is a team called Type 1, whose riders are T1 diabetics. The tour is covering about 120km per day at about 35kmh and they are all doing well! They have entered to highlight both T1 diabetes and also the fact that it doesn't stop you doing things if you really want. Obviously they are all trained athletes, with no side-effects which makes a difference but, we could all do well to think like them!
