I've been using an electric toothbrush for a few months, my teeth feel much cleaner now, like when the dentist cleans them. I haven't had bleeding gums since using it, I used too sometimes. triclosan is apparantly good to have in a toothpaste, for killing bacteria iirc. and fluoride ofc.

Bacteria feeds on sugar, and so when a person has high blood sugars, wounds take longer to heal. If you have cuts on your gums and you also have high sugars, they will not heal, resulting in bleeding and wound damage the next time you brush your teeth.
