As my levels have been so high for so long, and now that I'm starting to get them down into the sub 10 range, I'm getting quite bad headaches, is this pretty normal and how long can I expect them to last?

I'm guessing it's due to my body adjusting to the new lower levels.

Cheers.

Headache seems to have settled down a bit now I'm resting, but it was brutal earlier when I was out on my run. Most strange..

Was your blood sugar at a decent level (under 13.3) when doing the run? Also, staying hydrated?

What meds are you on? Do any of them cause headaches?

I've recently come down from mid-teens to under 9 and felt shocking for a few weeks. Hypo type lightheadedness and shakes even though I was, like, 7.5. And headaches but I think it was the Lyxumia.

Eating more fat made me feel better ;o)

Dehydration can cause nasty headaches, so it is essential to drink loads of water. Then there is salt - too little salt is also another possibility.
