Yep, Imagine yelling across a field "A-shet, A-shet, A-shet! and carrying a "pooper- scooper":wideyed:

When I call my hound I get tons of kids turn up .. Joseph is apparently a boys name .. And not a dogs name, as one person told me .. But he's a rescue and came with the name !

I really wanted to call Lola Fifi but my strapping 6 ft son said if you think I'll be walking her over the park calling Fifi come back you must be joking !! He went back to UK to work 6 months later so I could have called her that but now she gets called Lolly !

Double liked for having a Rescue dog :-):-). My girl Mishka's name eventually morphed into Moo. Now when she's being daft she's "silly Moo"

So sorry Kevin. So hope your pain eases soon x
Thanks sweetie, this week has been pretty awful pains etc wise, Pork Butt is definitely helping me through it, I needed a crutch, and as the photo shows he doesnt like to leave my side, which is just what I want too,

Wish there were Macmillan Nurses for my problems, profesional, compassionate, caring, trained staff, for the moments when even puppies don't take the edge off, at 3 am when the pain gets me out of bed who do I call. ? My Diabetic Consultant, will he come and sit beside my bed and hold my hand, and make it all feel better,

And folks on here don't know half of the torment, so when I dont feel up to posting words or pictures, I wish they could understand just how hard it is, because I want to answer EVERY post within seconds, It's just I'm often a failure at that too !

Love and. Hug Always.

No darling you are one of the bravest men Ive ever known xx

Most people can't imagine the pain you suffer. Yet you constantly put a brave face on. I'm glad new puppy helping even if it is a small ease of pain

Thanks Allie,

I Know you understand a lot of what I go through, most understand some, but from our conversations I know you understand on a professional level,

I just hope all realise I'm just in a dark place at the moment, and I'm desperately trying to climb out of it, and you all help so much here in the thread, but sometimes I get very closed in and find fighting the pending inebidability very tough and scary, be patient wiith this old goat No Matter What. !

Love Always.

Hey, you old goat, you are stronger than anyone I know. Forgive me if "we want Pork Butt" upset you because you were unable to post his photo. I'm so glad he's helping you through your darker times. Animals are said to have a healing presence and I'd say he's healing your heart. I can't begin to imagine what your pain is like but can quite understand how it can stop you doing things you want to do. Don't be hard on yourself. We're here for you when you need us and are thinking of you when you don't post cos we know it's not that you don't want to.
Take care and hugs
Belly rubs for the dogs.

Nothing to forgive x

I have read your story and it has really shocked and scared me into changing my ways towards diabetes. I was diagnosed at around 30 with type 2 and since then I have been guilty of ignoring my condition, I'm 38 now and realise i can't go on like this i also want to start a family before its too late. I have already reduced my hba1c to 51.

Hope you are well and keep the message going. Look after yourself.

Hi Vic
You are the perfect medicine for @kman today. You've just given him the best early Christmas present ever (apart from Pork Butt that is ;-)). You've also taken the best and biggest step to overcoming your diabetes by acknowledging it and joining this site. You'll learn far more on the site and forums than anywhere else because all the advice is from folks like us (tho luckily having high blood pressure I was picked up as pre-diabetic wth my annual blood screening) whose methods and strategies for beating it are tried and tested.
Take care and hope the your wish to start a family soon comes true
Jan
