Week on Sunday I was not feel well so said to husband I will go have a lay down on the bed as feel terrible, got to top of stairs and passed out fell down 14 steps hit my head on a picture which bust the glass and ruined the picture (never knew I had done this until I hit my ear on a vase that woke me up, husband rang for ambulance and paramedics was sure I had broken my arm and shoulder as was swollen right out and the lump on my head was ginormous, was taken to A&E had a CT scan and x ray on arm and was told no breaks so was sent home. Been on bed rest for a week swelling gone down on head all cept a small area which is still darn sore and my arms which hurts like mad, worst was the pains in my ribs and back I have never taken so many Paracetamols in my life but the pain has been awful also every time I have tried to walk about sweats would stand on me and I felt as though was going to floor so had to reast a lot. back to trauma clinic today unsure what for but oh well I just hope I will be ok but my levels have been all over the place this week I can not wait to get back to normal . I watched an A&E programme last eve where they splinted a sore finger cos it was bruised and here is me with nothing on an arm that has bruising coming out everywhere and is so darn sore grrrr. so be careful out there peoples falling down stairs is dangerous as I have found out to my horror. Be Well all xxx

That must have been a dreadful experience. Hopefully you will be assessed for the reason for the fall, and have all the help and support needed.

I used to pay good money to get like that and many still do!
I seem to be having falls where I trip over my own feet and I'm like how does that happen surely they should just be synchronised like they have been most of my life but nope... old age can be difficult.
I've learnt to stay aware of my own feet... how sad is that?
I'm walki8ng from one room to another and unfortunately I have to take my unruly feet with me.
Rest up get well and be.... AWARE!!!!!
