Tesco inappropriate raffle prize

What? I can not eat chocolate? where's the receipt I am taking this Diabetes back for a refund! No one told me about this! actually I have not been told much yet, roll on the 13th and my first appointment with the nurse!!!:arghh:

My local Tesco is having a raffle to raise money for Diabetes care and the Heart Foundation. The prize is a hamper full of chocolate!

Ok I may be wrong here, but I actually found this pretty funny just because of how ironic their ****-up is!! What is it with Tesco? The horse meat scandal, then there was something about that poisonous spider coming in with their bananas...then something about pricing **** ups. How are they still open?! :joyful:

Fruit would go off.
And I also eat a little amount of chocolate. But it would last a long time for me,
Then I'd also give it other people as presents, but eventually, I'd use it.
But, I don't force my diet on other people, so if they can eat chocolate, why not.
Just because I can't, doesn't mean others shouldn't.
Excess is bad, some isn't.

I'm exactly like you, Duncan. Funnily enough, at my work's Christmas do, I won the hamper which had choccies, champers and a whole heap of sugary goodness lol. But, like you, I eat chocolate in a sensible amount...so I'm just starting to make a dint in it - maybe I'll finish it by next Christmas?! Haha

Also, kudos on the just because you have restrictions doesn't mean other people shouldn't have free reign on their diet. It's like viggies who lecture you for eating meat! I have friends who are vegetarian, they don't try & make me veggie, nor do they impose their diets on me.
