Hi all,

just wondering if Tesco have a exclusion for VAT on the sensors? They charged my partner full price £63 without deducting the cost.

just wondering if Tesco have a exclusion for VAT on the sensors? They charged my partner full price £63 without deducting the cost.

You may need to ask for a VAT exemption form when buying the sensor - they may default to not providing the form/whatever is they do without you asking.
I know when I used to buy from the Asda pharmacy I had to fill in a form each time, though after the first couple of times whenever I went in to get the sensors they went to find the pad of exemption forms without me asking as soon as I asked for the sensors

There’s a form you can print off the .gov site somewhere too to get the vat off. It’s just a signed declaration you have diabetes.
