Testing program

Is it worth joining the testing program? I note it's only 400 test strips per year, and most advice on here recommends about 5 times per day. About 4 times as many test strips required to do this. Am I expected to buy more test strips if on the program. Confused!

400? That's practically 1 test per day! It would depend on how many times per day you need to test. I don't think they thought tnis one out.

Hi there! The Type 2 Testing Program was devised for people with non-insulin treated type 2 diabetes to learn from blood glucose meter feedback. The program is structured and includes information on testing around certain time points (such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, exercise, etc). The number of test strips supplied accommodates this. You are always able to purchase more test strips. The results from the Type 2 Testing Program are reported from users who followed the baseline program (i.e. no additional strips). Hope this helps.
