Morning all, forgive my ignorance, but just wondered when u have blood, c-pep tests etc for helping on dx of t1 or 2, wouldn't the insulin ur injecting show up therefore not giving an accurate reading? Thanks in advance for any answers.
No Bob. The tests are done in the hope of showing whether your pancreas is under autoimmune attack and whether it is making any c-peptide which is a marker for endogenous insulin secretion independent of injected insulin.
