So drinking coffee can suppress insulin production in the short term, but may be good for you if you drink enough of it for long enough, but 3 cups of black tea may be beneficial.

Thanks for that. That's about as clear as mud. What on earth are we supposed to do with that information. Do I have a coffee or should I have a tea instead? Maybe I shouldn't have coffee at all if I'm not going to properly commit to 6 cups a day, every day. You know what? I'm so confused by the contradictory information on this site that I think I might just carry on drinking the Gin instead.

What's the deal Wungnut? You only joined this afternoon, you've made three posts, and every one of them have been nothing but rudely critical. Spread your poison elsewhere.
 
Totally agree Grazer, these website posts have probably extended my life by some considerable years, and I also have agreement from my GP today !!

Are you on this site just to provoke everybody? people like you made me so angry, their are people of all ages who rely on this site for help and advice from other diabetic persons. I suggest you take you comments and stck them where the sun don,t shine and get a life :thumbdown:
