Hurrah! Hospital consultant appointment this morning. HbA1c down to 49 from 53 just 6 months ago. Thanks in part to the Libre, (Self funded). Unfortunately cannot keep up self funding so will have to be patient til the average Joe gets this. Have to say I don’t overeat on the carb front 80-150 a day. But neither do I deprive myself. I try and make good choices. Yes I know all carbs need insulin. But we would still need insulin without any carbs. I would need it just for my Adrenalin rollercoaster-a particular problem of mine.
Anyway thanks to all, for an informative and entertaining year on the forum. And, “A Very Happy Christmas and New Year to all.”

Keep up the good work. Hope one of this day CGM will be affordable to everybody and as common or cheap as glucose meter this day.
