I am Type 1 and have enjoyed making most of these things already. For other people to eat. I also make a pud for me that is carb counted which my mum made for my brother (also Type 1) 40 years ago. It works out at 30 carbs a portion which would probably be too much for most but as I am on insulin can accommodate it. My main meal will be meat and lots of veg but no potatoes. Which I would no longer thank you for. Then a piece of pud and cream. Carb count very similar to an ordinary day. I get the pleasure from the making of it. Will pass on a pud and cake to son. Plus cake to father as will only be hubby and self this year for obvious reasons. It is the pleasure of making them for me and luckily no real desire to eat them.
