Hi...
Quick question... if on a normal carb diet (100-150g per day), how many grams of carb would you allow for per egg? As I understand it, they contain approx 1g of carb per egg, but should I allow for more given the BG rise they often cause..? What do other people do?
Thanks in advance!

It seems to be very individual. You'd need to observe it yourself to establish the right amounts, especially alongside eating carbs.

A 100-150g of carbs isn't a normal carb diet, it's more on the low-side than high :)

The best way of knowing how eggs effect you is to test your postprandial bg levels, there's no one-size fits all and each and every one of us respond differently to food.

I tend to bolus for 4gms per egg if I have just have ham and eggs for a meal as the protein tends to affect me quite a lot.

I love eggs because I can make something like a huge omelet and not have to give myself tons of insulin because they don't seem to do much to my blood glucose and they only have like 1g of carbs and I tend to use the calculations for about 3g of carb per egg as that usually works for me, but like previous posters have said, it's completely individual when it comes to food :)
