It's my last week of being pregnant - next Thursday I go in for induction (assuming baby does not kick things off on their own beforehand)!

I wanted to take the opportunity to say a massive thankyou to the members of this forum who have been a wonderful source of advice and support since I found out I was pregnant in mid November - specifically I want to thank @1Sarah1, @Mrsass and the always brilliant @azure. You have been there every step of the way, and I want to recognise all you've done for me now before baby arrives and my brain turns to mush.

I am feeling nervous about what the next week holds but mainly excited to finally meet this little person who has been hitching a ride for the last 37 weeks! Hopefully I can add to the pictures in the new baby news sometime next weekend :)

So soon now! You'll be fine :) I know I keep saying it, but mental attitude is everything. Know you can do it, keep a cool head and know you can adapt as necessary, and have faith in your ability as a woman :)

Check your bag and get that Lucozade ready!

Enjoy the last few days of being pregnant :)

Hi you are very welcome. Take lots of extra snacks/hypo treatments lots of testing equipment and just be aware of your sugars plummeting once baby is here. Also if you breastfeed or express you probably don't need much insulin. I'm still not back to pre pregnancy rates and the twins are 8 months-I think its all the running around I do especially with my 2yr old who is type1 too. Try and relax or pamper yourself this next few days before you join me and @Mrsass in who has most sleep club. I think last night I was up 6 times including myself who was hypo and my 2yr old hypo then the twins. The joy....but they are all worth the hard work xx

Ahh how exciting @ArtemisBow

I imagine the next few days are going to drag a bit, they did for me, but Thursday will soon be here! As well as the hypo treatments don't forget to take stuff to amuse yourself while you wait for things to start happening!

Baby brain is a major problem for me, I started writing this post this morning then just looked and wondered where my comment was only to realise I still hadn't posted it. Things like this happen often now xx
