Rude people! Not being able to do the things I want to do.
I will never forget the longest day in the year.One year ago today I was diagnosed with type2 diabetes.For me that was a long day!!I was quite relieved that it was diabetes and not heart failure however and was lucky enough to come across this site fairly quickly in my wanderings through cyberspace in search of info on diabetes.The wonderful and confusing world of low carb and the great people of this community have helped me immensely. Now I hope I give back what I have learned and help newbies like myself come to terms with diabetes.This site rocks!!

Congratulations Sue. I'd pick diabetes over heart failure ever time.

Here's the ideal present for a diabetic.
It's a slice of cake that you can look at, but you can't touch.
Even the low-carbers will approve of that. :wink:

This time last year I was breathless,two stone heavier and stressed to Hell.Now I'm just stressed to Hell so I suppose that's some result. :lol:
