Have just watched a documentary film The Magic Pill it is an amazing film in my view and I am not prone to wild enthusiasm of such films but I believe it to be a must watch.
It is available on you tube but runs an hour and 29 minutes so not a casual watch but worth every minute.

Just planning to watch now - I have an adult autistic son who I care for so should be interesting. Only issue is that because of his autism he only eats about ten different things and it is so impossible to move him forward so it may be frustrating too!Thank you so much for posting @JohnEGreen, what a great film. My nephew is autistic, so a doubly interesting view for me.
I have the low carb one in my docco play list on Netflix, I will get around to watching today, I can't think of the members name who posted here the other day about it either. Also on Netflix, I watched it yesterday after someone started a thread on it and I thought it was very good / encouraging.

I doubt if I will watch the keto movie he also posted about.
Edit: It was @rab5 that posted it.
It might be "That Sugar Film" which was mentioned on the forum recently. Available on Amazon. What's the name of the 'low carb' one? I'm not sure I've seen it.
It's called the magic pill as well, I credited @rab5 for it but it was @lbd who posted it.What's the name of the 'low carb' one? I'm not sure I've seen it.

Sorry if that confused the situation, this thread has the link at Netflix for it

I think it is the same, Pete Evans has written a lot of cookbooks one of which is called "Low Carb, Healthy Fat", this where I got mixed up about the video name I think. Thanks, looks like they are the same thing. It's the one I watched recently.
I watched a couple of his videos on YouTube. He says no dairy but doesn't say why. He also says use filtered, 'clean' water and pasture fed meat. Sometimes, I do wish chefs looked through the windows of their Porches at us little people. His recipes looked nice, though.I think it is the same, Pete Evans has written a lot of cookbooks one of which is called "Low Carb, Healthy Fat", this where I got mixed up about the video name I think.
Here's a link to Pete Evans website, that has some video clips on it
He is co host of the Australian reality cooking show My Kitchen Rules, with Manu ????.

Try a 30 day Netflix trial.Started watching it on youtube last night, went to continue this morning and it appears to have been 'pulled' due to copyright infringement...........
