The Polar Bear Inn, a virtual pub

cribbage is all set up and ready to go .....

What an awesome board. Must show to husband who is avid cribbage fan. Before children, we used to find a quiet pub in the countryside and play by the fire, playing crib and quaffing cold wine. I had a bottle with a straw and he had the real ale lined up!

You're my type of woman lol ! Bottle of wine and a straw ! Respect ;-)

Gone are the days of dart boards, pool tables and dominoes being played, hope your pub is the old traditional type Thommo

Pool?! No!!!!!! Would also ban TV if had choice as well as ping food, menus where vegetables, chips, etc are declared to be side dishes and charged extra for. Think restaurant chains with fake themes and identical furniture should be outlawed. Ideal pub: good company, good liquor and food , good music and crib or darts. Am now showing age.

We have a dart board, crib, a shove h'penny board and a bar skittles set, then theres the monopoly, trivial pursuit, cluedo and scrabble. We did have a ludo set as well but the fighting was getting to be just too annoying.

Is that why there's no pool table and the cues were smashed?! I've heard the stories about Ludo players and they're not pretty. The scrabble lot sometimes get a bit rowdy - you only have to watch countdown and some of the words which come up there! Have you thought of introducing piquet? Mines a large chardonnay and a drink for the landlord!

Can we have a oversized Jenga, and a crown green in the beer garden please? And maybe a BBQ for the summer (or hardy folk)

No bowling alley at the Polar bear Inn, but in RL we did build a portable one for RNLI fundraising purposes a few years back, sadly we loaned it to another branch and they still havent returned it! Wasnt expensive though.

once played scrabble in the grasshopper amsterdam, the fact there were 20 z`s and 3 e`s seemed less important the later it got
