Know how you feel, I'm under an eye consultant and every time I get an appointment, a couple of weeks later it gets changed so if he says I will see you in two months, it'usually 4 or 5 before I see himI had a letter to say my eye appointment has been changedI am under the care of another hospital 30 miles away and the last visit I needed 2 months of eye drops for pressure in the eyes. She said she would see me in 2 months to see how my eyes are. I then get an appointment for 2 weeks later, panic, so I rang the hospital and the consultant made a mistake and put 2 weeks down instead of 2 months. They could only fit me in in 3 months time, 30th June and now it has been changed to 30th July. The start of the summer holidays, will have to leave at 8am to catch the train, then a bus, arrrggghhhhhhhhh. What my eye will be like, god only knows. It is so frustrating
Grrrrr.......I volunteer in a local shop and currently the shop has no manager. We have a master set of keys that none of us volunteers can take home and stand in managers can't in case they aren't coming back, so we take them to the shop next door and they keep them safe. Yesterday I took the keys round and watched the lady put them away, this morning I get a phone call asking me where the keys are because apparently they aren't at the shop next door
That's soooo annoying.....ask if you can have second opinion or referral back to the doctor you felt helped most.....A late arghhh. Had a hospital appointment last Saturday for my ears. What a complete utter waste of time going. Saw yet another different Dr, who without being rude, I found hard to understand him, only to be told there's nothing he can do apart from telling Me keep them dry and to come back in three months time. Really wasn't happy as my ears have been like this for a year now and getting fed up with having blocked ears and not hearing very well
To be honest from first seeing two different GP's at my surgery to the three different consultants at the hospital, not one if them I feel has helped the most. They have all said its acute eczema in my ears, which I agree with and to keep them dry but it's when my ears block up, itch and I can't hear, that gets me down which is quite often. I can't use ear drops or spray as that just make them block up even more. It's quite a vicious circle really, put up with the itching and can hear better or treat the itching with drops/spray and not hear a bloody thing. I put up with the itchy ears. I'll see what happens in 3 months when I have to go back, then ask for more to be doneThat's soooo annoying.....ask if you can have second opinion or referral back to the doctor you felt helped most.....

Hi guys, Katy is Much better thanks for asking. Her temperature is almost down to normal although she is still on the antibiotics. She is very tired and sleeping a lot and today they were going to do some tests for any permanent health damage.@Janiept how's your baby granddaughter today?
Such good news, she will hopefully soon be back homeHi guys, Katy is Much better thanks for asking. Her temperature is almost down to normal although she is still on the antibiotics. She is very tired and sleeping a lot and today they were going to do some tests for any permanent health damage.
Keeping our fingers crossed the results will be ok, but at least she's out of danger now thank goodness.

I DO hope you get something done....it must drive you nuts.....have they looked into food sensitivity as possibility of causing the eczema? My granddaughter has to avoid dairy and it helps my daughter too....To be honest from first seeing two different GP's at my surgery to the three different consultants at the hospital, not one if them I feel has helped the most. No they haven't mentioned anything about the cause. I don't suffer with it anywhere else though. I'll have to ask next time I goI DO hope you get something done....it must drive you nuts.....have they looked into food sensitivity as possibility of causing the eczema? Have they taken swabs for yeast or bacterial infection and such like? I think sometimes docs are so hung up on "cure" they forget to think abt cause.... One of my dogs gets a similar thing and has antibiotic drops to help.....when I can get them in...cause unknown but we'd need to sedate for vet to get a good look and swab but his heart means we can't do that, not safely....No they haven't mentioned anything about the cause.
