The SCREAM thread

So I went to my doctors to get an urgent prescription for test strips because I'd run out and wouldn't be able to go home and get some. They printed the prescription wrong TWICE so by that point I was fed up and just gave it up as a bad job. Utterly annoying since I told them both times what the strips were and what they were like.
Grrrrrrrrrr.......

Got a similar scream re dog's script. Pills online cheaper even wth cost of script. Keep telling me theyve not got it and dam thing even showing n my account now..... Had to pay for 3 weeks of meds at vets so far, a dearer version too

Sigh. For reasons I simply don't understand, my BG has been up lately, and now the shops are full of summer fruit. I used to love peaches and melon and apricots, I ate them by the bucket load. Feeling really sorry for myself!

Oh, dear :(.....have you tried eating fruit between meals and testing it? From what everyone (it seems) was saying, fruit, apart from a few berries, was "out of bounds" ... I know we are all so different but once your post meal test is done and acceptable do you think you might try some melon mayb? My GI/GL Counter is indoors and I'm not but many of the fruits are lowish for both, that's why I decided to try them. By themselves most have been ok so far.....and cheese with grapes......nice and balanced. I can't see your signature so don't know your meds or anything but ..... Worth a try? I eat to my meter rather than full on low carb....
Hugs for you

Just a quick update. Little Katy is still on intravenous antibiotics but her temperature has dropped slightly which is hopefully a good sign.
10 months old and she's like a pin cushion at the moment bless her, but not well enough to complain.
Thank you all for your care and support it means a lot x

Makes my need to scream trivial in comparison, I hope the poor little sausage is feeling better soon..

Anyway i shall have a good scream to relieve my feelings:

I had a (non-disabetic) eye hospital appointment this lunch time, and my husband had disappeared off somewhere walking the dogs sometime earlier - he's my chauffeur as I can't drive. 30 mins before I was due at the hospital he still hadn't appeared, so I tried to phone the clinic to let them know I might be late, and check if I should cancel. Couldn't get through to the right people and started to panic. Husband arrived home while I was still trying to phone, and said there was plenty of time. I'd got into such a state i felt sick & dizzy all the way to the hospital, but we did arrive in time... SO: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!

(And it's not the first time I've had to wait and worry like this either which was what made it worse....)

I always take the time the SatNav tells me...for new places....add half again and a bit more for traffic and traffic lights.... Not usually too early.....;)

I had a letter to say my eye appointment has been changed  I am under the care of another hospital 30 miles away and the last visit I needed 2 months of eye drops for pressure in the eyes. She said she would see me in 2 months to see how my eyes are. I then get an appointment for 2 weeks later, panic,:wideyed: so I rang the hospital and the consultant made a mistake and put 2 weeks down instead of 2 months. They could only fit me in in 3 months time, 30th June and now it has been changed to 30th July. The start of the summer holidays, will have to leave at 8am to catch the train, then a bus, arrrggghhhhhhhhh. What my eye will be like, god only knows. It is so frustrating :arghh::banghead:
