The SCREAM thread

Indy and Mike D, don't know what's going on, but there have been plenty of those over the years ( your quotes). But whoever wants to use the thread, then Carry on Screaming..................................

Editing posts is a great thing ... when you finally admit your error. But I keep records of abusive posts way beyond you think they're gone.

The "unless they decide to behave" comment has gone. Why?

Hello all. I've needed to screeeeaaaammmmm for a few days so thank you for the opportunity!

Just a family member who is causing some dramas for us.

Have a great day/evening wherever you all are.
Oh, dear, glad you've been able to SCREAM....hope family member gets their act together soon

5 years I have been denied health insurance. I am applying one more time. Literally this is life or death for me . I am screaming at the political leaders who lie about everyone being eligible for healthcare
That sounds really bad. Forgive me for asking but how can you be denied something you pay for? Or is it a free sort of thing?
We CAN buy health insurance but our NHS is still free (National Health Service) in UK

Carry on films ...
We can scream but not always carry on I guess ..
Good to scream ... For me it's at the ironing today ,.
Just when you think you have caught up with everything ...

Plastic bags I don't agree with paying 5p a time ..
I do take bags with me ..
But it's principal ...
If I want to give to charity I will .. Will the money for bags really go to charity ..
Will the country really be greener ..or still need to be tidy of rubbish ..
Should I be advertising which shops I have been in if I buy a bag !
Scream :arghh:

I've been paying 5p for a bag for a year now and still think it is a crock of sh**. Global warming and Climate change is a money making scam....scream over

Didn't know where the money was destined. Last time govt brought a charge in supermarkets absorbed it. Sainsbury's offer their 10p bag for life...as well as 5p ones so if I do forget shall buy those. Used to have loads of those....where they went...

The insurance companies are no longer allowed to deny us because of a pre-existing disease. They can however use financial reasons to deny you such as what they call ability to pay. The quote I got last was for 749 dollars per month plus a 6000 deductible. Only those under the poverty line can get state / governent insurance . So they have roadblocks .

That sounds like it's probably a lot and I guess the 6k is what we call "excess"....you pay the first $6k on any illness?
Sounds like you are in the situation we were for benefits when the kids were little...we earned just a few pounds too much to get anything..but could barely afford to buy food and pay all the bills
Hope things improve for you x

My Accu Chek mobile meter has decided to go and die on me as it is currently stuck on the E3 Meter Error screen. I've tried everything to get it to go away but it just won't, luckily I have spares but still arrrghhhhh!!!!

I've taken the batteries out and put them back in but the screen still comes up and I've also tried hooking it up to my PC as you can download data from it but that doesn't do anything either (good job my sugar results are on my pump haha)

I called in Tesco yesterday to get my DIL some flowers & a few other bits, in I went carrying my bag for life, at the checkout I put the shopping in my everlasting bag, the assistant put the flowers in a sizeable plastic flower bag, which was free of charge.:eek: I bought my grandaughter a coat today, a duvet coat which was quite bulky and had the choice of carrying it over my arm or putting it my life bag which I use all the time for my shopping, a plastic bag is a plastic bag we being conned (however I did pay 5p for a bag to keep the coat clean)
