.... also, if your manager has only just noticed this, then I can't help feeling that s/he isn't doing their job properly, and it's them who ought to be facing a telling-off......
Ooh, feel for you. Ask him has he heard the phrase "killed by kindness" not suggesting it's going to be that bad for you but he might get the hint. Hard when it's being done with good intentions...Aghhhhh .... just discovered that my other half (who is also diabetic and therefore should know better), has been adding a little bit of sugar to the cups of tea he has been making me!
He was trying to make a cuppa palatable and enjoyable for me .... I know that, but I am still trying to stabilise my readings and he doesn't have any problems so thinks I won't too. Tried telling him that I don't want the extra sugar. He keeps doing stuff like that - he doesnt test and has good results which is making it difficult for me.
OK .. I think I have solved the issue.
We went shopping today for a suit for him. Unfortunately for him, he falls inbetween 2 sizes so I have suggested that for the next 3 weeks, we both try to get slim and fitter to loose a bit of belly, then the smaller size suit would be absolutely perfect for him.
I think its worked! ... then after 3 weeks, what we are doing will become a new habit for us both
I am so devious

Thanks Sable_Jan, I thought I'd wait till I've calmed down even more than I have already, then contact my sister-in-law to tell her how I felt yesterday. I don't know who came up with name in the first place, but she's the one who said it was the perfect name for me. She knows how sensitive I am at the moment . . . but there was alcohol in the teapots . . .@dancer big hugsfor you. I'm sure it wouldn't have been meant unkindly, we just often don't realise that things like that can be upsetting. Let them know it upset you or if you can't face them all tell your closest family member and ask them to pass the message on.
Maybe you could mention to doctors. A daily water tablet mayb the answer? And move to a bedroom closer to the loo?Fed Up,!!! I don't tend to go to the loo much during the day. However come the night.... I have been up 2x already. & now bladder is making its presence known again. My loo is a long way from my bedroom so it is a real pain!
You would have hoped if she could think up such a name for you, she would have gone to the trouble to provide something you can eat! Thanks Sable_Jan, I thought I'd wait till I've calmed down even more than I have already, then contact my sister-in-law to tell her how I felt yesterday. I feel your pain... perhaps invest in an old fashion pot so you don't have to trek to the loo every night?Fed Up,!!! I don't tend to go to the loo much during the day. However come the night.... If that was me I'd be stepping in the pot in the morning!I feel your pain... perhaps invest in an old fashion pot so you don't have to trek to the loo every night?
As my bed goes down low. almost to the floor A saucer is the only guzunder that would fit. :***:That's why another name for it sounds like guzunder "goes under" the bed
