I used R-ALA for my chemo-induced foot neuropathy, which was very mild. It worked on the neuropathy but made absolutely no difference to my BS levels, either good or bad.

Didn't improve my bgs but made my injected insulin less resistant. A third of insulin needed on r-ala.
I'm on pregabalin tablets now which are great for my numb toe and better balance. As I just cannot afford my protein foods never mind supplements.
