for the past 3 weeks i have really been trying to get my blood sugar level's down and my weight too and it has been working going from 14.3 to 5.8(this morning) and from 18stone 10lbs to 17st 10lbs. as the days/weeks go by i am starting to get tired of eating the same 3 meals and snacks everyday.. i can't argue with the results so far but i need some variation. it feels like every time i google a food to see if it will spike my blood sugar levels i get conflicting comments, so i guess i'm reaching out and asking if anyone else has been in a similiar situation. i would love some recipe ideas too if anyone has any especially of meals i can cook in advanced and take them to work with me because trying to eating well at work is proving to be quite difficult..

thank you for taking time to read my rank, i look forward to reading any replies :)

I'm guessing you're eating low carb? What meals are you currently eating?

Here's a whole thread on what people have eaten today, it's in the low carb section of the forum so you might get some useful ideas there. :)
The amount of carbs people aim for per day varies, some are keto, others aim for staying below 100 or 150 grams of carbs and find that this works for them.
So depending on what you aim for yourself not all dishes may be useful to you, but I'm sure you can find some inspiration scrolling through that thread! :)

Well done on what's been achieved so far. I think its important for you to find a way of eating/exercising that you can sustain into the future.
If you love cooking then there's some really good sites out there like this one and Diet Doctor (a low carb site).
Freshwell is a great low carb (free) site run by a bunch of GPs . It includes an app and a meal planner. Google Freshwell Low Carb project.
If you want to keep it simple then just increase your repertoire of easy to cook meals made from stuff you've got on hand.
You say you are 'bored' and confused but perhaps a little part of your brain is telling you that is all too hard and you can't keep it going? You've got to make it easy to make the right choices and have some 'bridges' to get over the carb cravings you are likely to be experiencing e.g. black coffee, a short walk or other exercise. For me I eat a teaspoon of almond butter which gives me a little sweetness and crunch!
