In the autumn/winter my weight loss flattened out at around 75 kg, down from 95 kg Mar-14 when diagnosed. Recently I've joined the T2 Wat was your fasting BG in a morning and it's concentrated my mind a bit more on my BG.... and they have responded, spring has meant better exercise and also I dropped all carbs in the form of brown rice and the odd weekend roast potato, replaced by roasted cauliflower.. lovely.
In the last 6 weeks I've lost 4 kg and now weigh 71 kg. I'm 180 cm and so BMI is 21.9. I could lose some more but not too sure if I want/need to.... the bones are beginning to stick out.
Pasha of this parish was kind enough to post an example of his inputs and the balance between Fat, carb and protein. I put his numbers into my spreadsheet and confirmed the ratio. His ratio of Fat to Protein was way different to mine. I am doing 40-70 g carbs a day and my fat and protein are nearly one to one. My calories are normally less than 2000... hence losing weight.
So I'm wondering what sort of food items I need to keep the fat up and protein down and maintain my weight.
Cheers for reading so far.
