A title on a programme on DMAX, caught my eye - "A Trash Can of Skin" and I decided to put my Sky box to record it. As it happens I am watching it right now and what a surprise.............

This is about a woman who weighed 37.5st (oh yes) and with a BMI above 40. She went to a Harley street dietician, who put her on a high protein, low carb diet and over two years, she lost over half her body weight. She is now undergoing plastic surgery to have some 40lb of excess skin removed from various parts of her body.

It is VERY interesting - but be warned, there are some very grafic showing of her operations!

My BMI was over 40 when I started. I have to shed half my bodyweight, and my big fear is having spare skin :? I have lost 25% of the weight that needs to go so far and have not noticed spare skin to date. I'm hoping that this does not change.

Have not watched the program, I don't get TV, although I do pay Sky a substantial sum of money :? Sky is sending another engineer on Sunday morning. I have not had a consistent service with Sky since Easter, when the large willow just across from my house grew leaves :roll: The man at customer services at the weekend told me they have quite a few customers who only get a seasonal service. Still autumn is coming and I expect my service will return.
